Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university, Completion of university


Experience: 1 to less than 7 months


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Specific Skills: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Lift, turn or massage patients, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Answer call signals


Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms


Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning


Other Information:Bilingual is an asset but not necessary. Job is at Ottawa and surrounding areas. Minimum 30 hours/week.
