Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification


Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Area of Specialization: General duty, Home care, Rehabilitation unit


Specific Skills: Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Provide nursing care


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use


Other Information:Alternacare Inc., is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a Private Duty Case to start immediately. This is a long-term contract with full-time DAY SHIFT hours, Monday to Friday.
