Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification


Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years


Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Government institution


Area of Specialization: Clinic, Consulting, Occupational and industrial health, Public and community health, Rehabilitation unit


Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Develop and implement health education programs, Deliver health education programs, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Deliver immunization programs


Additional Skills: General counselling, Drug and alcohol rehabilitation
